About this Opportunity
Make a positive difference in the life of an actively dying hospice patient. Vigil Volunteers receive special training at Colorado Palliative and Hospice Care to become part of the patient's holistic hospice team - Doctor, RN, Chaplain, Social Worker and you! As a Vigil Volunteer, you provide comfort and a peaceful presence when the patient's death is imminent.You must pass a background check, TB test, complete orientation at your own pace, and mentor with hospice staff.
