About this Opportunity
Spend time with a hospice patient and create a special space for them-- read, review their life history, write a letter to a loved one for them, or just provide a comforting presence. Visit weekly-- more or less depending on your schedule. As a Hospice Volunteer you are specially trained to support the patient as they near the end of their life. You must pass a background check, TB test, and complete orientation at your own pace. No hands-on cares. You provide compassionate companionship.
