Volunteer with Equest!

Are you looking for an opportunity to volunteer in your community with amazing people and incredible horses? Then come on out to Equest Center for Therapeutic Riding! Equest is looking for volunteers to assist with our many programs. Volunteers help with a variety of tasks including leading horses in Therapeutic Riding classes, sidewalking with our riders for their safety, grooming and tacking horses, working with veterans in our Horses for Heroes program, special event and fundraiser assistance, cleaning stalls, and so much more! Volunteers must be at least 12 years of age to assist in the barn and at least 14 years of age to assist in the arena with the program participants.

We are also always looking for groups and organizations that might be interested in volunteer group opportunities! These opportunities may include special renovation products, decorating/prepping for upcoming fundraising events, and/or spring cleaning around the grounds. This is a unique team-building experience, as well as an opportunity for those who are not able to volunteer with us regularly and/or may want to be a part of Equest’s mission without working directly with the horses and clients.
